Peace Mantras & Prayers – Instructions

               Tina Turner

By repeating these prayers from the heart, we create divine vibrations which permeate the astral and mental worlds, elevate and purify our mind and fill it with sattva.

These prayers prepare the mind in the best possible way for the practice of meditation.

You can repeat them also during the day any time you find yourself irritated, upset, frustrated, stressed or anxious. The vibrations of prayers will bring peace to your mind and will remove the heavy, low frequency energies from your energy field.

Cleansing of the energy field and elimination of egoic energies

By repeating these mantras, you can cleanse your energy field from the negative energies of other people and also from the negative energy of places that are stuck in your energy field. People and many places (like subway stations, indoor spaces, workplaces and stores and of course almost every house) today are charged with negative energy and when we are in their presence our energy field gets contaminated with that negative energy. So one of the ways to cleanse our body of these energies is to repeat these mantras. They are very powerful. You can also use the mantras to eliminate the energy of the egoic tendencies in you, whenever they arise in you or are present in the form of moods or feelings and emotions.

Remember that it is important to say the prayer with an awareness of the silent space within and with feeling. The union of feeling with thoughts makes them fruitful and creative and these are empowered when deeply connected with inner silence.

Simplicity, concentration and faith are also important components of prayer.

         Shanti Mantra (3X) – Atman Nityananda

We begin by saying the following verses three times:

Sarvesham swastir bhavatu – May auspiciousness be unto all;
Sarvesham santir bhavatu – May peace be unto all;
Sarvesham purnam bhavatu – May fullness be unto all;
Sarvesham mangalam bhavatu – May prosperity be unto all;

Sarve bhavantu sukhinah – May all be prosperous and happy;
Sarve santu niramayah – May all be free from illness;Sarve bhadrani pashyantu – May all see what is Auspicious;
Ma kashcid duhkhabhaagbhavet – May none suffer;

Asato mā sadgamaya – From ignorance, lead me to truth;
Tamasomā jyotir gamaya – From darkness, lead me to light;
Mrityormāamritam gamaya – From death, lead me to immortality

Om Purnamadah, Purnamidam, Purnat, Purnamudacyate
Purnnashya, Puurnnamadaya, Purnamevavashissyate
Om, That is Full, This also is Full, From Fullness comes that Fullness,
Taking Fullness from Fullness, Fullness Indeed Remains

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti – Om peace, peace, peace

After the third time we continue repeating three or more times the mantra:

Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu – May happiness be unto the whole world!
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti – Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

then we say three or more times:

Peace, Love, harmony to all beings all over the world
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti – Om Peace, Peace, Peace!

and finally, we say three or more times this series:

May all beings be happy,
May all beings be blissful,
May all beings be peaceful,
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti – Om Peace, Peace, Peace!

At the end, we close the prayers by saying:

May all these prayers be realized for the well-being of all!
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti – Om Peace, Peace, Peace.
Om Tat Sat (3x)

  4. Spiritual practice and life

The aforementioned sections constitute the core modules of the course, serving as the foundation upon which all other modules and lessons will be elaborated.

Theory and Practice

In this course you will receive the essential knowledge about all the important topics related to life and spiritual practice, living consciously moment by moment, inner transformation and awakening of Consciousness.

More precisely, you will acquire knowledge about the fundamental principles and concepts of Advaita Vedanta (Non-duality), Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Jnana Yoga—the main paths of Yoga and Spirituality.

Jnana Yoga serves as the direct path to Self-realization, emphasizing the recognition of the non-dual Self (Consciousness). Delve into the fundamentals and understand the significance of other yoga paths within the context of Jnana Yoga’s transformative journey.

Knowledge about the divine Self, Consciousness, which is experienced as a silent, still, and peaceful space. This course will provide practices to establish conscious contact with it and to distinguish this consciousness from all other layers of our existence. Additionally, explore meditation, self-inquiry, and self-awareness practices related to this inner connection with our divine self.

Knowledge about the human psychology according to Yoga and Ayurveda. A holistic psychological approach that includes the higher aspects of our existence and our divine nature.

Knowledge about the three gunas (sattva-rajas-tamas), the five sheaths (koshas), the mind (the fourfold internal organ), ego, ignorance, desire, karma, bondage and freedom.

Knowledge about the nature of mind, desire and ego in relation to the three qualities (Gunas, sattva-rajas-tamas). Analysis of the aspects and functioning of the mind and the ego.

Important knowledge about the nature, functions, aspects and expressions of the Ego or Egoic self (our illusory identity identified with the body).

The main expressions and defense mechanisms of the Ego. The mechanism of desire, egoic tendencies and negative emotions. The main qualities that cause the ego’s illusions and generate suffering: superimposition, identification, imagination, attachment, association.

Various methods and practices will be offered for the development of the sattvic qualities and abilities, the purification of the vital energy, mind and heart, the dissolution of the egoistic tendencies and the development of Self-awareness.

The methodology of the practice is based on my method, which I discovered after about 30 years of practice, and I call it Advaita Atma Yoga – The double approach.

This is a holistic approach grounded in the principles of Advaita Vedanta and the main paths of Yoga (Bhakti, Karma, Raja and Jnana Yoga). However, it represents these ancient teachings in a manner that is more digestible and comprehensible for people in this modern age.
